Q: Is this product simular to astroturf?
A: No. Our product is actually polyethylene synthetic grass combined with black sand or rubber infill. The sand/rubber is spread on top of the synthetic grass to keep the strands in place, causing it to look and feel just like real grass.
Q: Over time, will the sun harm the grass or make it fade?
A: No. Our polyethylene product has a superior protective uv coating and can endure extreme weather conditions. Sunlight, heat, wind, rain, snow and ice are no problem for our grass.
Q: What type of maintenance is required with synthetic grass?
A: To keep the grass looking its best, an occasional brooming is reccomended to keep the fibers standing up. Leaves, twigs and other debris can simply be removed with a leaf blower.
Q: How long can i expect this product to last?
A: Life expectancy is 15-25 years with an 8 year limited warranty.
Q: Is it good for pets?
A: Our product is used specifically for pet runs. Urine simply drains through the perforated backing and ultimatley evaporates. Other messes can be cleaned up the same as real grass, using a shovel or pooper scooper. Simply hose off when necessary to eliminate any odor.
